About the event
The Argha Yagya dedicated to Mahasiddha Agathiyar is a sacred offering of gratitude and invocation to one of the greatest Siddhas of all time.
The word argha means a libation or offering, traditionally of water, flowers, or other pure substances, symbolizing the surrender of the ego and the recognition of the Divine presence. In the Siddha tradition, to offer argha to a Master like Agathiyar is to align oneself with his living current of wisdom and to invite his grace into one’s life.
Agathiyar is revered as the foremost of the 18 Siddhas, the one who transmitted the science of yoga, alchemy, medicine, and the secret knowledge of the Self to humanity. His teachings, collected in texts such as Saumya Sagaram, reveal the path to Kaivalya – the complete liberation of human consciousness.
On an inner level, the Argha Yagya is a call to surrender our limitations, fears, and doubts into the fire of transformation, and to open the heart to the guidance of the Siddhas.
Participating in this yagya is a way to honor Mahasiddha Agathiyar and to invite his living presence to guide and protect you on the path of yoga and self-realization.
