Shiva Temple Estonia

Shiva Temple Estonia operates under the legal entity Lilleoru non-profit oganization (Lilleoru MTÜ, registry code 80143446, located at Taevasmaa road 2, Aruvalla, Rae parish, Harju county 75320, Estonia hereinafter referred to as “Temple”, “we”, or “us”) operates the website www.shivatempleestonia.org (hereinafter “Website”) and provides donation opportunities, personal puja services, and event registrations through it (hereinafter “Services”).

By accessing or using the Website or Services, you (hereinafter “User” or “Participant”) accept and agree to these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). Please read them carefully before using the Website or Services.

We reserve the right to update or amend these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect once published on the Website. Continued use after such changes means acceptance of the updated Terms.

The Website and Services are intended for use by adults aged 18 and over. Minors must have parental consent to use the Website or Services and should follow parental guidance.​​​
Donations
​Donations to Shiva Temple Estonia are voluntary contributions intended to support our activities. Unless explicitly stated otherwise, donations are non-refundable. Upon receipt of a donation, a confirmation or receipt will be provided when applicable. Payment processing is conducted through third-party providers; we disclaim responsibility for their terms, conditions, or technical issues. All transactions are processed in euros.

All donations made to Shiva Temple Estonia are held as separate funds from other Lilleoru MTÜ activities and are used solely for Shiva Temple purposes, with accounting conducted separately.​
Event Registrations and Puja Services

Information regarding each specific puja, event, or service is available under the corresponding section on the Website.

Registration for pujas and temple events is subject to availability and confirmation by Temple staff.

Some pujas and events require advance booking and full payment before the scheduled date, unless on-site payment is specifically offered for that particular service. Service fees or suggested donation amounts are shown for each specific service, puja, or event registration.

Users agree to provide accurate and complete personal data during registration.

The Temple reserves the right to cancel or reschedule events or pujas due to unforeseen circumstances or insufficient registrations. In such cases, Users will be notified and offered either a refund or an alternative date.

The Temple is not liable for indirect damages or losses resulting from changes or cancellations.
Ordering and Payment Process
To book a service or register for an event, the User must:

Choose the desired service or event and add it to the cart.

Provide the necessary personal information in the required fields.

Select a payment method. All transactions are processed in euros.

Confirm the order and proceed to payment.

Payment Methods
To provide a smooth user experience and secure payments, we may use trusted third-party processors, such as:

Upon payment via Stripe, Inc.:
Payments are securely processed via Stripe, Inc. The following payment methods may be accepted depending on availability:

Visa / Mastercard credit and debit cards

Apple Pay and Google Pay

Other regional or international methods supported by Stripe
All transactions are processed in a secure environment outside the Website – credit and debit card payments are handled in Stripe’s secure environment. Shiva Temple Estonia does not have access to the User’s card or banking details.
The agreement is considered concluded once the payment amount has been received into the Website owner’s bank account. The owner of the Website is the controller of personal data and transmits the necessary personal data required for payment processing to the authorized processor, Stripe, Inc.

Payments are securely processed via Maksekeskus AS. The following payment methods are accepted:

Estonian bank links (Swedbank, SEB, LHV, etc.)

Other options provided by Maksekeskus
When paying by bank link, please click “Return to merchant” after payment to confirm your order.​ Payments are mediated by Maksekeskus AS. All transactions are processed in a secure environment outside the Website — bank link payments are completed in the secure environment of the respective bank, and credit card payments are handled in the secure environment of Maksekeskus AS. The Temple does not have access to the User’s bank or credit card details.

The agreement is considered concluded once the payment amount has been received into the Website owner's bank account.​ The owner of the Website is the controller of personal data and transmits the necessary personal data required for payment processing to the authorized processor, Maksekeskus AS.​
Delivery of Services
Shiva Temple Estonia provides non-physical services. Delivery occurs as follows:

Puja Services: Conducted at the temple on the selected date.

Events: Participation rights are granted at the event location.

Digital Services: If applicable, are made accessible immediately after payment (note: right of withdrawal does not apply to immediate-access digital content).
Cancellation and Refunds
Users have the right to withdraw from a paid service agreement within 14 calendar days unless:

The service has already been delivered.

The service is digital content accessed immediately after payment.
Cancellations for services or pujas must be made at least 1 day prior to the scheduled event. To request a withdrawal or cancellation, send a written request to: info@lilleoru.ee. If the service has not yet been delivered and meets the legal criteria, a refund will be issued within 14 days.
Use of the Website

Users agree to use the Website lawfully, respecting the rights of others and refraining from harmful activities such as spreading malware or spam.

Unauthorized access, data breaches, or attempts to disrupt Services may lead to suspension or legal action.
Personal Data and Privacy
​We process personal data provided by Users in accordance with our Privacy Policy available at www.shivatempleestonia.org/privacy. By using the Website or Services, Users consent to such processing for purposes including service delivery, communication, and marketing, based on legal grounds such as contract performance and legitimate interest. We comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Users have rights regarding their personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.
Intellectual Property
Direct Marketing and Newsletters

We send newsletters and promotional offers to the User’s email address only if the User has explicitly subscribed to such communication by entering their email on our Website and giving consent to receive direct marketing messages.

Users may unsubscribe from these emails at any time by notifying us via email or by clicking the unsubscribe link included in each marketing message.

All Website content, including texts, images, logos, and videos, are the intellectual property of Shiva Temple Estonia or its licensors and are protected by copyright laws.

Personal, non-commercial use of the content is permitted. Any other use requires prior written permission.
Liability and Disclaimer

The Website and Services are provided “as is” without guarantees of uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Shiva Temple Estonia strives to provide accurate information but cannot guarantee completeness or fitness for specific purposes.

Use of the Website and Services is at the User’s own risk.

We are only liable for direct damages caused by our intentional or grossly negligent actions to the extent permitted by law.

We disclaim liability for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages, including lost profits or data.

Events beyond our control (force majeure) release us from liability. Such events include natural disasters, pandemics, war, strikes, or other unforeseen circumstances beyond reasonable control.
Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Estonia.

If the User and the Website are unable to resolve a dispute through negotiation, the User has the right to turn to the Consumer Disputes Committee (Tarbijavaidluste Komisjon) operating under the Estonian Consumer Protection and Technical Regulatory Authority. The conditions for proceedings can be reviewed and an application submitted here. The Committee is competent to resolve disputes arising from contracts between consumers and online service providers. The review of a consumer complaint by the Committee is free of charge.

The User may also use the European Union’s Online Dispute Resolution platform visible here.

Any disputes arising shall be settled in the Harju County Court of Estonia.
