The third day of Navaratri is dedicated to Goddess Chandraghantā – the radiant warrior form of the Divine Mother. Her presence dispels fear and awakens inner strength, balance, and the readiness to face life’s challenges with peace and power.
Day 3 – Wed, Sept 24 Chandraghantā
Color: Dark Blue / Red
Focus: Chandraghantā embodies peace, balance, and protection. Her name refers to the crescent moon on her forehead, symbol of the light of consciousness and vigilance. The day focuses on affirming inner peace and creating protection.
Daily Mantra: Om Devyai Candraghaṇṭāyai Namaḥ
Ceremonies:
Morning: 07:05–08:35 Chandraghantā pūjā with Guru and Gaṇeśa pūjā, and Śiva abhiṣeka
Midday: 12:47–13:36 Abhijit homa (Rudram japa and homa to affirm peace and protection)
Evening: 19:10–20:40 Chandraghantā yagya

You can take part either on-site or online. Participation is based on a donation, with a suggested amount shown below. Upon registration, participants will receive ceremony details and the online access link for morning, midday and evening ceremonies.
