Fifth day of Navaratri is dedicated to Goddess Skandamātā, the compassionate mother of Skanda (Kartikeya), the divine warrior. She bestows wisdom, calm strength, and protection, nurturing the seeker with motherly grace and inner illumination.


Day 5 – Fri, Sept 26 Skandamātā


  • Color: Green / Yellow

  • Focus: Skandamātā, mother of the warrior god Skanda, symbolizes motherly love, care, and protection. She unites the forces of Devi and Śiva, bringing balance and inner strength. The day emphasizes deepening the Śiva–Shakti union and nāḍī purification meditation.

  • Daily Mantra: Om Devyai Skandamātāyai Namaḥ

  • Ceremonies:

    • Morning: 07:10–08:40 Skandamātā pūjā with Guru and Gaṇeśa pūjā, and Śiva abhiṣeka

    • Midday: 12:47–13:34 Abhijit homa (union of Śiva and Shakti, focus on nāḍī purification)

    • Evening: 19:05–20:35 Skandamātā yagya

You can take part either on-site or online. Participation is based on a donation, with a suggested amount shown below. Upon registration, participants will receive ceremony details and the online access link for morning, midday and evening ceremonies.
